Ayaan Kapoor is a successful real estate businessman who finds himself in a dire situation. He is in debt of 16 crores and struggling to sell his house to repay the debt. He has been living with his wife, Inspector Ruhi, and daughter, Pihu, in his wife’s house. One day, Ayaan gets involved in a road accident and wakes up in Heaven, where the gods Yamaduta and Chitragupta provide him a chance to return to Earth. They give him a game called the Game of Life, where he must fill two containers, one with white balls representing his positives and the other with black balls representing his sins and weaknesses. Ayaan initially finds the game challenging as he starts off with many black balls.
Throughout the game, Ayaan is presented with scenarios that reflect his past mistakes and weaknesses. He is shown to be jealous of his wife’s success as an inspector while he himself failed to become one. He is given the chance to prove himself as an inspector but ultimately fails, showing him that he couldn’t have been a better inspector than his wife. Ayaan is also shown to lack humanity as he receives black balls for not being a good son, brother, or husband.
However, as the game progresses, Ayaan starts to earn white balls for controlling his anger and for making amends for his past mistakes. He apologizes to his sister for falsely blaming her for burning their father’s house in their childhood. Ayaan also learns to value his family more and starts to prioritize them over his business. He earns 18 crores from the sale of his house, something he couldn’t have done without the help of the game.
But despite his progress, Ayaan is not without faults. He receives many black balls when Chitragupta discovers a tattoo of another woman on his elbow. This sends Ayaan on a path of self-reflection, where he realizes the mistakes he has made in his past relationships. Ayaan is shown the reality of the situation where his wife and relatives were planning to buy him a new car after hearing that his car would be towed due to his bank loan. But the car which collided with Aayan’s car was the new car that Ruhi bought for Ayaan.
After his wake up in heaven, the doctor tells Ayaan that Pihu’s kidneys are damaged and Ruhi’s one kidney is affected. Ayaan signed a donor form to donate his kidney before falling unconscious again due to overdose of some pills. Ayaan returns to heaven where Chitragupta and his father are proud of him. Chitragupta blesses Ayaan and his family with a new life. The Doctors give Ayaan news that a man bought his dead relative’s body but didn’t reveal his name. However, it’s revealed that the man was wearing a locket where it was written CG.
Ayaan starts his life with a new mindset where he gives more importance to his family. He also adopts a child, and starts to repair his ancestral home. He is a changed man, who now puts his loved ones first, above everything else. Ayaan is shown to be grateful for the opportunity he had been given, which helped him to learn from his past mistakes and become a better person.
