While trekking, a few youths come across a dead body identified as Pooja Chaudhary, whose daughter is a prominent advocate Justice Chaudhary. A team of special police officers investigates the mysterious murder of a high-profile victim, who is the daughter of a retired judge. The team is headed by ACP Avinash Verma who is now working in the
narcotics division but has been appointed along with a special team of serious crime officers to solve this case. The higher officers do not favor Avinash Verma but the retired Justice Choudhary requests them to appoint him to the case as he wants the case to be resolved quickly and swiftly. Pooja Choudhary, the daughter of Justice Choudhary, was found by four college students at a tourist site on a hill. There was a big wound on her head. The forensic department found some pieces of copper on the wound. This suggests that whatever equipment was used to kill her was copper. Also, since there were no indications of sexual harassment, this justifies that it was not a rape case. If it was not a rape case, it means the killer killed Pooja for some personal reason and the killer is only after them. There was no blood from Pooja’s head strewn around the place where she was found, suggesting that she was killed somewhere else and her body was dumped at the place where she was found. Pooja visits her best friend Kavita’s house hoping to meet her and show her something. But due to an exhibition in Pune, Kavita went to Pune and Pooja spent the night in Kavita’s house as it was very late. Kavita’s husband Ravi is an MLA. He and Dadu the maid were there and they provided her a room.
ACP Verma and his team start solving the murder mystery and they have a target to close the case and identify the killer within a week. ACP Verma starts investigation by questioning Pooja’s family members and then MLA Ravi Khanna and his aide Dadu. After a series of investigations and intriguing encounters, ACP Verma solves the case and the plot is revealed. Pooja and Rishabh have an affair, which Rishab’s fiancee Kia discovers. Furious, she visits Pooja after learning that she is at Kavita Khanna’s place and demands that Pooja leave Rishabh alone as he is her fiancé, but Pooja asks her to talk to Rishabh and not her. This angers Kia and she hits her hard on the head and without knowing what just happened, she flees the place. Kia is finally arrested and Rishab and MLA Ravi Khanna are also arrested for tampering with the evidence.
