The acting is top notch. Mohit raina has done a great job. You are such a naturalist. Sunny kaushal was equally good. In this film he has shown that he has an aura about him to lead. But my voice is radhika madan so stellar. She is beautiful, beautiful, and extremely talented. Another female lead who can carry the film on her shoulders. Very impressed. The supporting cast including diana penty is great.
Music and bgm-bgm is decent. But the highlight is the music. What is good music. Be it ‘barbadiyaan’, ‘shiddat’ or ‘chitta’ all are well composed and sung. A romantic film deserves great music and shiddat has that.
The writing-writing of the first half is problematic. Capping is a problem. It was and is. Jaggi literally follows her to the swimming pool and clicks a picture behind her without permission. But the second part is really good. Discussions, relationship problems are really good.
Chemistry – there are two chemistries specifically. One between jaggi and kartika. Good. They are both very good. The second is between jaggi and gautam. My brother typed the truth when the latter took care of the former. It’s great to see that.
Philosophy – the philosophy of love is well organized. Jaggj,-kartika and jaggi -gautam hv many discussions on the philosophy of love. There are some references to soni mahiwal as well. It was really nice to see.
Climax – I was literally shocked by the climax. I never thought this would happen. But in the end all things are shiddat, the love that jaggi and kartika had for each other.
Shiddat is a movie you really need to watch. It’s a really good movie. I rate it 8 out of 10.

The film begins with the marriage of Gautam, an Indian Foreign Services officer, and Ira, a spirited social worker. Jaggi, the chief guest at the wedding, creates a scene and is caught with his friends for crashing the party. After 3 years, Jaggi crosses the border illegally, intending to reach London, but is caught and sent back to the embassy where Gautam works. Jaggi explains to him that he has to reach London before Monday for his love, inspired by Gautam’s speech. The film flashes back three months ago.
Jaggi, a hockey player, meets Kartika, a swimmer, and although the two get off to a rough start, they start spending time together and grow close. Jaggi finds out that he is getting married and tells him that if his feelings are true, he should come to London after three months, which is where he will annul the marriage. Jaggi enters the UK illegally and faces many hurdles trying to reach Kartika before her wedding and finally jaggi dies.
