The film opens with a group of friends joking around in their SUV when they return home from a party and are suddenly killed in a hail of bullets. Several hours ago, Sandeep Kaur Walia aka Sandy, a senior executive at Parivartan Bank, was waiting for her boss, Parichay, for a dinner date at a high-end restaurant. He meets a journalist, Purva, who invites him to a party later in the evening. Outside, Sandy meets Satinder Dahiya alias “Pinky”, who tells her that he is a police officer with the Haryana Police and Parichay has sent a car to take her to another location. Sandy is annoyed by Pinky’s driving, especially because she is always on the phone with her boss (giving him their location) and reveals that she is three months pregnant. Pinky encounters hooting from an SUV of young men and when her boss asks for her car’s license plate number, she gives the number of the SUV.
The SUV was stopped at a police checkpoint and they started firing indiscriminately at it, as shown in the first episode. Pinky, who is behind the SUV, witnesses the carnage and drives to an isolated place. It ends up that Sandy is the real target and the police want to kill him as well to make Sandy vulnerable in the failed operation on the suspended police. Pinky calls her boss Tyagi, the head of
a private security firm, who tries to calm her down and demands answers from Sandy but she is in denial.
Sandy takes Pinky to Purva’s party and invites her to relax and understand the situation, where she finds that her SM accounts have been blocked. The police tracked him down and the duo fled the party. Pinky briefly considered killing Sandy to protect herself but couldn’t go through with it. He plans to go to Nepal and Sandy asks Pinky to take him with him, promising a million rupees in exchange. They traveled by train and then bus to Pithoragarh, a border town to Nepal. Angered by the unfair conditions around her, Sandy asks a friendly couple, Aunty and Uncle, at the market to take them as paying guests. Pinky finds an agent who will create fake documents for them to pass.
Brother reveals that he has invested four lakhs in ‘Swabhiman’ scheme of Parivartan Bank. Sandy was scared and helped him withdraw his money from the plan. Sandy reveals to Pinky that Swabhiman’s plan
is his brainchild: a fraudulent scheme designed to get a large number of depositors in a short period of time to save the failing bank. During this time, she had an affair with her boss and became pregnant. Sandy wants to resign after taking the share of 32 crores for his son, which Parichay refuses and that is why he wants to kill him. He bailed out Uncle from the scheme in the bank by giving the manager an opportunity to embezzle millions of rupees using his intimate knowledge of his operations.
Later that night, when the money is transferred, Parichay’s team in Delhi is alerted to Sandy’s situation. The bank manager recognizes Sandy and tries to force her to have sex with him but she fights him off and as a result she suffers a miscarriage. Pinky stands over Sandy’s wounds and burns her baby. Sandy could not bear this loss and went into a panic. Pinky tries to help him recover and they grow close.
Tyagi tracks the two to a wedding ceremony that they should use as a counter to cross the border. Pinky learns about this and calls Tyagi, asking him to let Sandy pass in return for the one million she has already taken from him and his submission but her boss refuses. Sandy decides to settle some scores and convinces Pinky to leave without her. He returned to town when Pinky cross-dressed and escaped from the police check post.
Sandy understands that if Tyagi’s group captures him, they will kill him. He instead surrendered himself to the local police and revealed the Parivartan Bank scam. Purva visits Sandy in jail and informs her about Parichay’s arrest, along with the six cases of fraud charged against him. Purva points out that Sandy could have received a lighter and more lenient sentence if she disclosed her abortion but Sandy refuses. Purva then gave Sandy a package from P. Thapa, which was posted from Nepal, addressed to. He has some photos of children dancing in a Bollywood dance school in Nepal. Sandy understood that it was from Pinky and smiled.
