Jaya “Jerry” Kumari is a young woman from Bihar who has been living in a small town in Punjab and working at a massage parlor after her father died in a stampede at a railway station. Her mother Sharbati sells vegetable dumplings and her sister Chhaya “Cherry” Kumari is a student. Anil, their unmarried neighbor, is supportive and acts as a father figure to Jerry and Cherry. Sharbati is unhappy about Jerry’s job, but Jerry continues to work there to earn more money and support her family. One day, Sharbati is diagnosed with stage two lung cancer and Jerry needs 25 lakh rupees for her medical treatment and chemotherapy. Jerry asks her boss for a loan, but is refused.
While out shopping, Jerry accidentally hits a drug smuggler who was trying to evade the police. Inspector Lal thanks Jerry for catching him. The smuggler’s boss, Timmy, and his henchmen confront Jerry and tell her that a stash of cocaine has been hidden in the market’s toilet by the absconder and they can’t retrieve it because the market is still under guard and investigation. Jigar takes Cherry hostage until Jerry retrieves the drugs. Jerry manages to retrieve the drugs and, while returning home, she discovers that Cherry found a bag belonging to one of the smugglers with a large amount of cash inside. Jerry decides to smuggle drugs to earn more money for her mother’s treatment and asks Timmy to consider her for the job. He agrees and assigns her the task of delivering drugs to a fish factory by hiding them in noodles in a tiffin box. Jerry becomes successful at smuggling and uses the money to pay for her mother’s treatment.
One day, Jerry sees Inspector Lal at the massage parlor and has a panic attack, but he is actually the owner’s husband. One of Timmy’s henchmen snitches on Jerry to Inspector Lal, who finds drugs in her tiffin box but ignores them because he is working for Timmy. Timmy discovers the traitor’s identity and kills him and another henchman on Jerry’s request. Jerry decides to stop smuggling and asks Timmy to pay her dues. Timmy asks Jerry to give him a body massage and tries to take advantage of her, but she pushes him away and escapes, leaving him paralyzed. Jerry returns home to elope with her family, but they are held captive by Daddu, Jigar, and the rest of Timmy’s henchmen. Daddu tells Jerry that she can earn her freedom back by delivering 100 kilograms of cocaine. Jerry agrees and comes up with a plan with her family and Anil. Sharbati fakes illness and Jerry and Cherry ask for help. Rinku intercepts the gang and offers to help Jerry. Sharbati gets into the minivan with Jigar and a henchman, and Jerry and Cherry follow in a car with Rinku and Anil. Timmy and Daddu chase them in a truck and catch up to the minivan, but Jerry and her family manage to escape and Timmy and Daddu are arrested.
