I haven’t seen the original. And I can say that more than 80% of Indians don’t see this movie as Spanish and not Southern.
The film received some poor reviews from critics who went into this film with low expectations and were so surprised that I was hooked and booked from start to finish. I don’t know why critics thought this movie was bad, for me it was just good.
A lady named Gayatri believes that her sister Garima did not commit suicide, but was murdered. As she sets out to find the truth, a stalker, likely the killer of her sisters, follows her here and there. As Gayatri also starts losing her eyesight, will she be able to find the killer? And who is it?
The script is interesting enough to keep you hooked till the end. There are a lot of exciting developments that keep me excited for what’s to come. The audience is left to guess who the killer is, and it won’t be who you might think.
The setting of this movie is very well done. The eerie atmosphere with shades of gray and fog in the mountains is the perfect setting for a crime thriller. Director Ajay Bahl, the one who gave us the 2019 masterpiece Chapter 375, has successfully ensured that this film has the right tone.
The real star of the movie is the villain played by an actor who was previously seen in the very popular TVF web series and my god his performance is top notch. Please give this guy more roles. He literally went from being that simple innocent guy in the TVF web series to this horrible scary psychopath. Watch the movie to know who it is (of course…throws me on dikh hi jayega but watch it anyway to see his performance).
Tapsy is also decent but nothing new in her performance but good enough. Gulshan has a half-screen presence and does a good job.
In general, a film without songs, without dances and unnecessary romance. It fits the story perfectly, and that’s a big plus for this movie. I really enjoyed the movie because of the script and the thief, and unfortunately I can’t agree with the critics who call it random.

Gayatri has a bad dream that her blind twin sister Gautami, who was suffering from progressive blindness, committed suicide by hanging herself and someone forced her to do so. At night, she decides to go home with her husband Neil, who is unhappy that Gayatri has returned home six months after spending time with the tribe. Upon reaching, she has to face the horror of Gautami’s death, but Neil and investigator Chandel believe it was suicide. Gayatri decides to start her own investigation and senses that the killer is following her, but neither Neil nor Chandel trust her. Gayatri soon discovers that she too is turning to progressive blindness and needs treatment, but before that Neil was killed in a similar blaze and the cops closed the case saying that Neil and Gautami were having an affair and committed suicide.
